MapQ（以下「本アプリ」）は、調べた場所にピンを立てて、場所どうしの位置関係を把握するための地図アプリです。本アプリは、利用者のプライバシーを最優先に設計されています。

1. データの収集について

本アプリは、利用者の個人情報を一切収集しません。アカウント登録も不要です。

2. 位置情報の取り扱い

本アプリは、現在地と向いている方角を地図上に表示する目的でのみ、端末の位置情報および方位センサーを使用します。取得した位置情報は端末内での画面表示にのみ使われ、保存も送信も行いません。位置情報の利用許可は「アプリの使用中のみ」であり、バックグラウンドでの位置情報取得は行いません。

位置情報の使用を許可しなくても、場所の検索とピンの追加・俯瞰といった主要機能はご利用いただけます。

3. データの保存場所

追加したピン（名称・緯度・経度）は、すべてお使いの端末内にのみ保存されます。開発者を含む第三者のサーバーに送信されることはありません。アプリを削除すると、これらのデータも端末から削除されます。

4. 地図データについて

地図の表示および場所の検索には、Appleが提供するMapKitを使用しています。検索語句の処理はAppleのサービスを通じて行われ、その取り扱いはAppleのプライバシーポリシーに従います。開発者が検索内容を取得・保存することはありません。

5. 分析・広告について

本アプリは、アクセス解析ツール・広告SDK・トラッキング技術を一切使用していません。

MapQ Privacy Policy

MapQ ("the App") is a map app for dropping pins on places you look up and seeing how those places relate to one another. The App is designed with your privacy as the highest priority.

1. Data Collection

The App does not collect any personal information. No account is required.

2. Location Data

The App uses your device's location and compass sensors solely to show where you are and which way you are facing on the map. Location data is used only for on-screen display on your device; it is neither stored nor transmitted. Location access is requested as "While Using the App" only, and the App never accesses your location in the background.

The core features — searching for places, adding pins, and viewing them together — work even if you decline location access.

3. Data Storage

The pins you add (name, latitude, longitude) are stored only on your device. They are never transmitted to any server, including the developer's. Deleting the App removes this data from your device.

4. Map Data

Map display and place search are powered by Apple's MapKit. Search queries are processed through Apple's services and handled under Apple's privacy policy. The developer does not receive or retain your search queries.

5. Analytics and Advertising

The App uses no analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
