DiaryQ（以下「本アプリ」）は、チャット形式で記録した1日の出来事をAIが日記にまとめるアプリです。本アプリは、利用者のプライバシーを最優先に設計されています。

1. データの収集について

本アプリは、氏名・メールアドレスなどの個人情報を収集しません。アカウント登録も不要です。

2. データの保存場所

チャットの内容、日記、週のふりかえり、登場人物ノートは、すべてお使いの端末内に保存されます。iCloud 同期をオンにした場合は、利用者本人の iCloud にも保存されます。開発者のサーバーに保存されることはありません。

3. AI処理について（無料版）

無料版では、相づちの返信・日記・ふりかえりの生成は、端末内で動作するAI（Apple Intelligence、または本アプリ用の日記AI）によって行われます。入力内容が端末の外部に送信されることはありません。

4. DiaryQ Plus（有料サブスクリプション）のAI処理

DiaryQ Plus を購読し、アプリ内の説明画面で同意した場合に限り、返信・日記・ふりかえりは Google の生成AI「Gemini」（Google Cloud Vertex AI）によって作成されます。このとき、次の内容が開発者の中継サーバー（Google Cloud Run、日本リージョン）を通じて Google に送信されます。

送信された内容は返信・日記を作るためだけに使われ、中継サーバーには保存されません（1日の利用回数を数えるため、購入情報から作った匿名の識別子と回数だけを最大3日間保存します）。Google は Vertex AI の規約に基づき、この内容をAIモデルの学習に使用しません。ホームの「クラウドAIを使う」をオフにすると、いつでも端末内のAIに戻せます。

5. ネットワーク通信について

本アプリが外部と通信するのは、(1) 日記AIなどのモデルを Apple の配信サーバーから取得するとき、(2) App Store での購入・購読の確認、(3) DiaryQ Plus 利用時の上記4の通信、(4) iCloud 同期をオンにした場合の Apple の iCloud との通信、に限られます。

本アプリは、アクセス解析ツール・広告SDK・トラッキング技術を一切使用していません。

DiaryQ Privacy Policy

DiaryQ ("the App") turns your day, recorded as chat messages, into a diary entry using AI. The App is designed with your privacy as the top priority.

1. Data Collection

The App does not collect personal information such as your name or email address. No account is required.

2. Data Storage

Chat messages, diary entries, weekly reviews, and character notes are stored on your device, and also in your own iCloud if you turn on iCloud sync. They are never stored on the developer's servers.

3. AI Processing (Free Version)

In the free version, replies, diary entries, and reviews are generated by AI running on your device (Apple Intelligence or the App's diary model). Your input never leaves the device.

4. AI Processing in DiaryQ Plus (Paid Subscription)

Only if you subscribe to DiaryQ Plus and agree on the in-app consent screen, replies, diary entries, and reviews are written by Google's generative AI, Gemini (Google Cloud Vertex AI). In that case, the following is sent to Google through the developer's relay server (Google Cloud Run, Japan region):

That day's chat (your messages and the AI's replies)
Your character notes, and the titles and openings of recent diary entries
When creating a diary entry or review, that day's or week's records
When creating a companion character's photo, the options you chose (age, gender, personality, heritage, job). Like your chats and diaries, the photo is stored only on your device (and in your own iCloud if iCloud sync is on). Images you choose yourself are never sent to the server
Apple-signed purchase information (App Store transactions) to confirm your subscription

This content is used only to generate replies and entries and is not stored on the relay server (to count daily usage, only an anonymous identifier derived from the purchase and a usage count are kept for up to 3 days). Under the Vertex AI terms, Google does not use this content to train AI models. You can switch back to on-device AI at any time by turning off "Use cloud AI" on the home screen.

5. Network Access

The App connects to the internet only to (1) download models such as the diary model from Apple's servers, (2) verify purchases and subscriptions with the App Store, (3) communicate as described in section 4 when using DiaryQ Plus, and (4) communicate with Apple's iCloud if you turn on iCloud sync.

6. Analytics and Advertising

The App contains no analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
