NeckGuard is an iOS app that uses AirPods motion sensors to detect forward head posture and alert users. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information.

1. Information We Use

Motion Data: Head tilt angles from AirPods IMU sensors. All processing occurs on-device. No data is sent to external servers.
Bluetooth Status: Used only to detect AirPods connection/disconnection. Stays on-device.
App Settings: Threshold angles, alert delays, and notification preferences are stored locally on-device (UserDefaults) only.

2. Data Transmission

NeckGuard (v1.0.0) does not transmit any data to external servers or third parties. All processing is done on-device.

3. Required Permissions

Motion & Fitness: Required to access AirPods motion sensors for posture detection.
Bluetooth: Required to detect AirPods connection status.

We do not sell, share, or provide user data to any third parties.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes all stored data.

6. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13.
